I recently discovered that our little bird enjoys a nice bath now and again. I put him in the bowl with a little water and he splashes around and enjoys a few drinks. The girls find it disgusting that he drinks his bath water. Little do they remember drinking their our a time or two.
After his bath I put him in his penthouse suite next to his heater. I don't want the little fellow to check a cold.

Oh, you are making me miss all the birds I had when I lived in Florida. Cockatiels are the sweetest things!
Haha, if drinking the bath water grosses your kids out, wait til you start reminding them of all their diaper blowouts, spit ups, and the best one, peeing in the bathtub before drinking the water!
Aww, isn't he cute? Bud enjoys a daily bath in his water bowl. He won't have anything to do with a separate bowl in his cage -has to be the water bowl.
